About the service

3D that shows exactly what a product is, before anyone has it in their hands.

Photography needs a finished product, a studio and a reshoot every time something changes. 3D does not. Once a product is modelled accurately, every angle, colourway, exploded view and lifestyle scene comes from the same source file — including for products that are still in development.

We model from CAD data where it exists and from reference images where it does not, then build materials, lighting and camera work until the render holds up at full resolution. The same asset then feeds stills, animation and interactive web 3D, so a launch uses one consistent visual rather than three that almost match.

Our approach

Our 3D process, from first model to final render

We start with what the visuals have to do — sell on a product page, explain how something works, or carry a launch campaign — because that decides the shot list, resolution, animation length and whether the model needs to run in real time in a browser.

Modelling, materials and lighting are reviewed as clay renders before anything is polished, so proportions and camera angles are signed off early. Final renders and animation follow, exported in every format your site, store and ad channels need.

The outcome

Product visuals that sell, explain and launch — from one set of files.

Product pages get consistent, high-resolution visuals in every colourway without a photoshoot, and complex products become easy to understand once someone can watch them rotate, open up or animate through how they work.

Because every image and animation comes from the same scene files, new variants, seasonal campaigns and updated renders are quick to produce later — you keep the models, not just the exported images.

FAQ

3D Design & Animation questions, answered

Still unsure about something? Ask us directly, we answer every message ourselves.

  • What do you need to start a 3D product render?

CAD files (STEP, OBJ, FBX or similar) are ideal because they carry exact dimensions. Without them, we model from product photos, technical drawings or a physical sample, plus brand references for materials, colour and the mood the renders should have.

  • How long does 3D product rendering take?

A set of still renders for one product typically takes one to two weeks, including modelling and revisions. Product animations usually take two to four weeks depending on length and complexity, with clay previews signed off before final rendering.

  • Is 3D rendering cheaper than product photography?

Often, once you need more than one shoot. A 3D model is built once and reused for every angle, colourway, scene and future campaign, whereas photography repeats its costs each time the product or the brief changes. For a single hero image of a finished product, a photoshoot can still be the faster choice.

  • Can you add interactive 3D to our website?

Yes. We build real-time 3D with Three.js and WebGL — product viewers, configurators and scroll-driven scenes — and optimise the models so they load quickly on phones instead of dragging down page speed.

  • What files do we receive at the end?

High-resolution renders and animations in the formats your channels need, plus the source 3D files and scenes, so new renders can be produced later by us or by anyone else. Everything is yours, with no licence restrictions on how you use it.
